ABOUT LIVE MUSIC AT SKEIN & TIPPLE

After much consideration and listening carefully to our patrons, Skein & Tipple has pivoted to a more relaxed vibe with our live music.

Rather than presenting or promoting 'feature acts' or ‘events’ so to speak, we’ve booked a few of our favorite performers (among so very many) whose musical styles we feel best meet the criteria of  blending seamlessly with relaxed conversation over cocktails. In other words, we are a cocktail bar with live music, rather than a music venue with a cocktail bar, if that makes sense.

What does that mean for our customers?

Well, it simply means that, if you’re a music lover who wants to see a 'show,' you would be best served by going to a venue where the musical performance is prioritized (i.e., with tickets/admissions, seating, billing, etc.) and promoted as such. There, you can give that performance the attention both you and the artist are looking for. And there are many such places here on the island! You can start here to find them.

On the other hand, if you’re a cocktail lover who would like to imbibe in an intimate, relaxed environment for nice conversation and a drink or two – with the added  ambiance of a live performer in the background... well then, this is your place.
